Thank You for Thinking of Carter.

On April 9, 2014, in Fairmont, WV, Carter Ciemania sustained a near-fatal injury to his brain.

Eleven-year-old Carter is the most adventurous, loving, and dedicated kid you will ever meet. He is one of four kids, and has two loving Christian parents. Last month, Carter was accidentally inflicted with a serious and traumatic head wound. It is undoubtedly a miracle from God that he survived his life flight from FGH to Ruby Memorial. When he arrived at Ruby, doctors were certain that as soon as they removed life support machines, he would pass away through the night. Miraculously, Carter was still fighting well into the next morning and every day since. At Ruby, Carter has received several neuro-surgeries and battled MRSA—as well as faced many other hurdles in his recovery. 

Our little Carter, made leaps and bounds in recovery but still needs many prayers. While Carter still fights through all that has been laid before him, he has a long way to go. Recently, he was scheduled to receive intensive speech, motor, and occupational therapy at a clinic in Baltimore. His family had to appeal to their insurance company three times before getting approval for his treatment. Thankfully, he started physical therapy in Baltimore June 17th. His family, that has been at Carter’s bedside every moment, desperately needs your help. If you're able to give even just a little bit of money, it would be helpful.
